In this conversation we talk about how he got started in teaching to his work with Viktor and more specifically the short game coaching that he has been doing in the last couple of years. In  this case we do a deep dive into the low spinning chip shot that we both have highlighted on our instagram. Not only the metrics and ranges that he has measured but the techniques and pieces that are required to create this pattern and what the best chippers in the game are doing. so without further delay, I give you the brilliant and often controversial but always honest, my friend, Joseph Mayo….

New from the Guru – Podcast (video and audio) with Dr. Savannah Gardner – Stay Low and Keep Moving- also a bonus IG Live convo

Below is a follow up convo with Dr. Savannah on Instagram Live

Dr. Savannah Gardner, DC, CACCP is a chiropractic physician and go-getter girl from South Florida whose mission is to re-define the chiropractic experience for athletes & their families. She is a certified pediatric chiropractor with a passion for treating families, no matter the age, ability, or goal. She also provides specialized prenatal care as one of the only Webster certified providers in the area. Growing up in Jupiter, FL golf became a huge part of her life and she is excited to provide specialized care to the Pinehurst area as a Titleist Performance Institute Medical Level 3 expert. Whether you are a weekend warrior, a professional athlete, or are just looking to add chiropractic care to your health care regimen, she is ready to serve you! If you have the will, she will show you the way to better health.

Dr. Savannah was born and raised in Jupiter, FL. As a young child, she dreamed of following in her mother’s footsteps and becoming a majorette at the collegiate level. At the age of 17 she suffered a tumbling injury, resulting in spinal fusion surgery at the L5/S1 level. She returned to sport and was selected as a Crimsonette at The University of Alabama. With residual pain and a rigorous performance schedule, she was in agony and over the counter medications weren’t helping any more. Her athletic trainer recommended a local chiropractor and she immediately saw a significant change in her pain and athletic abilities. She went on to perform in 2 SEC Championships & 3 National Championship Games – living out her dream, pain free.

She graduated a year early, earning her B.S. degree in Human Performance & Exercise Science. She then moved back to Florida to attend Palmer College, where she was awarded her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and the college’s most prestigious accolade – The Clinical Excellence Award. During her tenure at Palmer, she quickly found a passion for family care and women’s health, leading her to become Webster Certified. She also completed over 200+ hours of post-graduate education through the ICPA, pertaining to the care of children and pregnant women.

I first met Savannah at our Carolinas Teaching Summit last fall and was so impressed with your passion and curiousity for learnling and she asked great questions during our presentations so I know that I had to get her on the show. We had a great coversation where she shares her story and the reason why she got into the wellness and human movement and performance business to some interesting obserations and wisdom that she has gathered from her time spent at TPI to some of her experiences with many of her athletes and how she has supported them in their journey to high performance. I enjoyed this conversation so much as their is so much more to unpack that we will need to do a round 2 at some point. I apologize for not getting to our listener questions so Dr. Savannah and will figure out how to get those questions answered in one shape or form on social media. So without further delay, I bring the brilliant and talented, Dr. Savannah Gardner……I hope you enjoy!
