If you are having trouble with your short game or are confused about what type of shot to hit, this may help you to organize your decisions and improve your mechanics. Since working with Top 50 instructor, Todd Sones, I have adopted his language on the short shots and it has been a big help to my members and less confusing. I don’t use the words “chipping” or “pitching” any longer. Here is a short video that I did for my members at Carmel.

Is it bad that I hit the same wedge for all of these shots? I rarely change my club within 50 yards. I am just SO comfortable with that club in my hand. It’s a 56 degree Vokey.
